Which player in the Indian team is the hardest worker? Yashasvi Jaiswal named this player, not Kohli.

Indian team's aggressive opener Yashasvi Jaiswal revealed that Shubman Gill is a very hardworking player in the national team. Yashasvi Jaiswal surprised fans by not mentioning Virat Kohli's name.

It's worth noting that Kohli has set a new benchmark for hard work through his discipline and practice. He is considered one of the greatest cricketers of the modern era. Even at the age of 37, Kohli's hunger for runs hasn't diminished. He still trains rigorously like a young player.

Why Shubman Gill?

However, Yashasvi Jaiswal has his own reasons for selecting Shubman Gill. In a conversation with Aaj Tak, Jaiswal said, "Shubman Gill is a very hardworking player. I recently saw him up close. He works very hard and is very disciplined about his routine. He works a lot on his fitness, diet, skills, and training."

Yashasvi further added, "It's incredible. It's a great pleasure to watch Gill play or to play with him. He's also a fantastic person. During the England Test series, he batted well and intelligently. We have faith in him that he can perform well in every situation."

Jaiswal is full of confidence after scoring a century

It's worth mentioning that the left-handed batsman Yashasvi scored his first ODI century against South Africa last week. Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 116 runs, which helped India easily chase down the target of 271 runs in 39.5 overs. The Indian team won the ODI series against South Africa 2-1.
