Now the film's director Nelson Dilip Kumar has told why he chose Pooja Hegde along with Vijay in the movie.

The Hindi version of Thalapati Vijay's film Beast will be released as RAW (Beast). A lot of insta reels were created by copying the hook step of Vijay and Pooja on the song Halmithi Habibi from the movie. The story of the film looks quite engaging in the trailer as well. Pooja Hegde is making a comeback in Hindi films with this film. Now the film's director Nelson Dileep has told what was on his mind before casting the pair.

Nelson said when we were finalizing the cast of Beast, Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde's film Ala Vaikunthapuramlu was released. Pooja did a great job in the film and she was being praised at the national level. I wanted to take an actress who has never worked with Vijay. Keeping all these things in mind, Pooja was a perfect fit for my character in the film. He is a hardworking artist and even though Tamil is not his native language, he learned the language and spoke his lines.
