This was the first time since October 18 that more than 9,000 patients were identified in a single day. More than 3,000 active cases increased in 24 hours
On Wednesday, 17,425 corona patients were found in the country. 14,071 people recovered and 87 died. So far 11.1 million people have been infected. Of these, 1.08 crore people have been cured, while 1.57 lakh patients died. 1.70 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. In this way, the number of active patients was increased by 3260 on Wednesday.
1.54 crore people were vaccinated
According to the Union Health Ministry, so far more than 1 crore 54 lakh 61,000 people have been vaccinated. Of these, 67.75 lakh health care workers have been given the first dose, while 28.25 lakh people have received both doses. Similarly, the first dose has been applied to 57.62 lakh frontline workers, while 3,277 people have received both doses. The vaccine has so far been administered to 1.04 lakh people aged 45 to 60 years and 8.44 lakh people above 60 years of age.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got Corona vaccinated on Thursday. He was given the first dose at LNJP Hospital in Delhi. Kejriwal, 52, has been undergoing diabetes treatment for 10 years. Their parents have also been vaccinated. All have been given the CoveShield vaccine.

There is news of a relief in corona patients among the boom. There are 5 states and union territories in the country where more than 99% of patients have been cured. These include Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. The highest number of 99.7% of patients have been cured in Arunachal Pradesh.

On Wednesday, 417 people were found corona infected in the state. 293 people recovered. So far, 2 lakh 62 thousand 850 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 55 thousand 888 people have been cured, while 3,865 patients died. 3,097 patients are undergoing treatment.
4. Rajasthan
On Wednesday, 215 people were found corona infected in the state. 85 people recovered. So far, 3 lakh 20 thousand 772 people have been affected by the infection here. Among them, there are 3 lakh 16 thousand 515 people who have been cured. 2787 patients died. 1470 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

On Wednesday, 475 people were found corona infected in the state. 358 people recovered. So far, 2 lakh 71 thousand 245 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 64 thousand 195 people have been cured, while 4412 patients lost their lives. 2638 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Delhi
240 new corona patients were identified in Delhi on Wednesday. 196 people were recovered and three died. So far, 6 lakh 39 thousand 921 patients have been identified.
