Pakistan cricket team reached India for World Cup 2023
Pakistani players got Indian visas only 48 hours before traveling. Due to strained relations between India and Pakistan, both teams play against each other only in Asia Cup and ICC tournaments. Only Mohammad Nawaz and Salman Ali Aga in the current Pakistan team have toured India.
Babar did not play in the T20 World Cup in India in 2016 due to injury. Before the team's departure, Babar had expressed his excitement about playing in India, especially in Ahmedabad where the arch-rivals would face host India in front of over a lakh spectators.
