After defeating South Africa in a one-sided match in the third T20 played in Dharamshala, the Indian cricket team's bowling coach Morne Morkel expressed his happiness with the bowlers' performance. He said that he was pleased with the performance of his bowlers in the low-scoring third T20 match against South Africa. Arshdeep Singh, who faced criticism in the second T20, also apologized to Morkel.
India had bundled out South Africa for a low score in this match. The South African team was all out for just 117 runs. Team India achieved the target with the loss of only three wickets. With this, India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20 series.
Arshdeep also expressed his happiness.
Morkel said in a video posted by BCCI TV, "I'm happy that the bowlers have bounced back in this way."
Arshdeep said in the video, "In the last match, whenever I bowled wide balls, the camera kept focusing on the coach's (Morkel's) face as if he had given me the wrong strategy. I want to apologize to Morne and also want to ensure that the camera doesn't keep focusing on his face."
In the second match, Arshdeep had bowled six consecutive wide balls. India lost the second match, and the bowlers' performance was heavily criticized. In the third T20, the Indian bowlers made up for it and dismissed South Africa cheaply.
Rana said this:
Meanwhile, Harshit Rana said that he enjoys bowling in tandem with Arshdeep because the left-arm bowler creates pressure from one end. He said, "I enjoy bowling with Arshdeep. He creates pressure from the other end, which helps. This was my first match in Dharamshala, and it felt good to bowl here. The weather helped a lot."
