The weather pattern has changed once again in the entire NCR including the capital Delhi. Hail accompanied by rain fell in some parts of Delhi on Wednesday afternoon. Residents of Rohini, Pitampura, and Paschim Vihar reported hailstorms and rain accompanied by strong winds around 2 pm. Apart from this, it rained in many different areas of Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida. Due to the changing weather in Delhi NCR, people have gotten some relief from the heat.

Earlier in the morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert in Delhi-NCR regarding a dust storm, thunderstorm, or hailstorm accompanied by wind speed up to 50 km. Later this warning was changed to the Orange category. Delhi's base station Safdarjung Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the year's normal temperature. The IMD had said that as a result of a Western Disturbance affecting Northwest India, a cloudy sky has been predicted over the capital for the next three days.
