Which awards did 'Sam Bahadur' get

Based on a true story

 

'Sam Bahadur' is the story of a soldier who not only showed bravery on the battlefield but also contributed significantly to the country's military strategies. This effort to bring Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw's life to the big screen was not only commendable but also shook the audience to the core. Many historical events, including the 1971 India-Pakistan war, have been shown in depth in the film.

 

Hindi cinema dominated this year's National Awards.

 

Apart from 'Sam Bahadur', this year Shah Rukh Khan got the Best Actor award for 'Jawan', and Vikrant Massey for '12th Fail'. Rani Mukherjee was given the Best Actress award for 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway'. Sanya Malhotra's 'Kathal' won the Best Film award, and 'Animal' won in technical categories.
