Russian vaccine manufacturer Sputnik V has claimed that their vaccine Sputnik V is more effective than any other vaccine against the delta variant of the coronavirus found in India. The company has said that Sputnik V has the best results of all the vaccines that have released results regarding this strain so far.

This vaccine was first developed by the Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology. It was approved in Russia on 11 August. This vaccine is currently being given in 67 countries of the world.
