AAP fields Shastri's grandson in Allahabad

New Delhi, April 2 (IANS) The AAP Wednesday announced that former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri's grandson Adarsh Shastri will contest the Lok Sabha election from Allahabad.

Releasing the names of 19 more candidates, the Aam Aadmi Party said former Chhattisgarh High Court judge Fakhruddin will take on Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli.

Shastri, who was earlier expected to be fielded in Lucknow, will take on Bharatiya Janata Party's Shyama Charan Gupta and Nand Gopal Gupta of the Congress.
