AAP names candidate against Priya Dutt in Mumbai

New Delhi, March 22 (IANS) The Aam Aadmi Party Saturday released its 10th list of candidates and fielded Phiroze Palkiwala against Congress' Priya Sunil Dutt in Mumbai North-Central.

Incumbent parliamentarian Priya is the daughter of actor-turned-politician Sunil Dutt.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated late party leader Pramod Mahajan's daughter Pooja from the constituency.

In the list of 22 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls, the party also named Mahesh Taharia from Rajasthan's Tonk-Sawai Madhopur constituency, represented by Congress' union minister Namo Narain Meena.

The party also announced eight candidates from Bihar, seven from Rajasthan, two each from Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat and one from Jharkhand.

With this, the AAP has now declared 339 candidates.
