Singer Samar Singh, the main accused in the death case of Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey, has been arrested by the UP Police. Police took Samar Singh into custody last night from Nandgram police station area of Ghaziabad. According to Ghaziabad Police DCP Nipun Agarwal, Samar Singh was caught from Charms Crystal Society Rajnagar Extension.
According to Ashapur outpost incharge Akhilesh Verma, who was part of the team formed to arrest Samar Singh, the police station comes under Nandgram area. He said that Samar Singh would first be produced by the police in the Ghaziabad court and then handed over to the Varanasi police. Right now Samar Singh is kept in Nand Gram police station of Ghaziabad.

In this case, on the Tahrir of Madhu, the mother of the deceased actress, the police had registered a case against Azamgarh residents Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh under Section 306 IPC.
Both the accused have been absconding since the beginning, out of which Samar has now been caught. Three teams were formed to nab them.
