Army Chief Naravane leaves for the Jammu tour for two days, will take check of security situation

Jammu Kashmir News: Army Chief General MM Naravane today left for a two-day tour of the Jammu region to review the security situation. He will also visit forward areas near the Line of Control (LoC) and will be briefed by top officials about the ongoing operations there. The army gave this information in a statement.

Let us tell you that this visit of the Army Chief is taking place at a time when there have been continuous killings of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir recently. According to sources, the Home Ministry has sent CRPF DG Kuldeep Singh to Jammu and Kashmir. Senior officers of IB, NIA, Army, and CRPF are camping in Jammu and Kashmir, who are monitoring every intelligence inputs.

Bihar DGP talks to J&K DGP

The DGP of Bihar spoke with the Chief Secretary and DGP of Jammu and Kashmir regarding the killing of four Bihar residents in Jammu and Kashmir. Four people from Bihar lost their lives and one got injured in the recent incidents. Senior state officials also coordinated with the union territory officials. Bihar Police gave this information in a statement. During this conversation, a request has been made to ensure deployment and patrolling of police teams in Jammu and Kashmir where the people of Bihar live and work. The Bihar government has also requested the Jammu and Kashmir administration to form a special team and ensure the arrest and strict punishment of the terrorists involved in the killings.
