Army chief reached Arunachal for the first time after skirmishing with Chinese soldiers in Tawang, took stock of preparations on the border

Today, the country's Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has met the soldiers who gave a befitting reply to the Chinese soldiers on the LAC. General Pandey visited the area along the LAC in eastern Arunachal Pradesh and took stock of the security situation from the troops. The Army Chief complimented the soldiers for maintaining their high vigil and exhorted all to continue working with equal zeal and dedication. Let us tell you that Chinese President Xi Jinping recently reviewed the war preparations via video communication with his soldiers posted on the Indo-China border of Ladakh. This visit of the Army Chief is being seen in response to that.

 

Visited after 6 weeks after the Tawang clash

The army chief met the Indian soldiers deployed along the LAC with China in Arunachal and encouraged them and asked China to give a befitting reply. The commanding officers posted on the border informed the army chief about the war preparations. Explain that the Army Chief visited Arunachal 6 weeks after the skirmish with the Indian Army in Tawang with Chinese soldiers.

There was a clash last month

On December 9, the Indian Army clashed with the Chinese soldiers on the Tawang border of Arunachal. The attempt by the Chinese soldiers to enter the border of India was thwarted by the Indian soldiers. Many Chinese soldiers were injured in that skirmish.
