Every person in the country will get the coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said this while attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday afternoon. He said this while replying to Rahul Gandhi's statement, in which the Congress leader said that out of the 130 crore population of the country, only 3% people have been found to have both Corona vaccines. Attacking Rahul Gandhi, Javadekar said that he should look towards the Congress-ruled states, where there is a lacuna in vaccination.
Prakash Javadekar said that by the end of 2021 all people will be vaccinated in India. He said that if Rahul Gandhi is concerned about the corona vaccine, then he should look towards the Congress-ruled states where there are major flaws. Congress-ruled states are not taking away the quota given from May 1, which is to be used for vaccination of people between 18 and 44 years of age. At the same time, Javadekar raised the issue of toolkit while responding to the charge of lack of management of the government during the Corona crisis. Let me tell you that the BJP had recently accused Congress that it is working on a strategy to surround the government through a toolkit.
Let us know that on Friday, Rahul Gandhi, while talking to the media through video conferencing, attacked the central government and PM Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi had said that the second wave of Corona has increased in the country due to the gimmick of PM Narendra Modi. He said that PM Modi is the event manager and he works on only one event at a time. They do not know how to formulate a strategy. Not only this, the Congress leader said that vaccination is the only permanent solution in the country. Long battles cannot be won by things like social distancing and masks.
216 crore vaccines to be produced in the country by December
Prakash Javadekar said that the Health Ministry has given a road map as to how 216 crore vaccines of Corona vaccine will be produced in the country by the end of this year. Earlier, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan had said last week that by the end of this year, the entire adult population of the country will get the Corona vaccine. Not only this, he said that the health infrastructure is being upgraded because of the danger of corona emerging once again in the future. During the review meeting of Corona on 21 May, he had said, 'A total of 216 crore Corona vaccines will be produced in the country from August to December 2021. At the same time, 51 crore vaccines will be purchased by July this year.
