New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) The Delhi government would be setting up 13 camps across the city between Feb 23 and 28 to speed up the process of issuance of learner's licences for e-rickshaw drivers.
"The transport department has decided that the process of issuing learners' licences to e-rickshaw drivers and owners needs to be expedited. Therefore, we will be setting up the camps," transport minister Gopal Rai said.
"We will be focusing on spreading awareness (about these camps) with the help of pamphlets, radio ads and newspaper notices," he added.
The 13 places where the camps would be set up include the Motor Licensing Office on Mall Road, Sheikh Sarai, Sarai Kale Khan, Raja Garden, Janak Puri and Vasant Vihar.
