We know that historically it is not easy to come from England and play here, in 50 years we just Win once, but it's a great opportunity for the team. To win here would be a big achievement, so that's something we've been looking forward to very much. It's a big challenge for us, but something that can be taken care of. We are very excited."
England captain Joe Root further said that his team will play positive cricket in the series as winning matches is their priority. It should be noted that England is currently at the bottom of the World Test Championship points table. Despite playing all the matches, England has 10 points in their account and the team's win percentage is 9.25. Therefore, the England team would need to win their overseas Test matches to earn enough points to qualify for the WTC Finals.
