On Sunday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya along with Karnataka Health Minister K. Sudhakar said that the central government is in talks with Zydus Cadila Company on the cost of corona vaccines for children. He said that if these talks are successful, the vaccine will be available for children in Karnataka by November and December.
The Minister of State said, 'The meeting with the Union Health Minister was discussed regarding the vaccine for children.' Simultaneously, Sudhakar said that it is not possible to predict the third wave in the state. However, we have taken all precautions and strict restrictions are still in place despite pressure from the neighboring states of Kerala and Maharashtra. Along with this, he said that Karnataka is also discussing giving booster shots for those who have taken both doses of one Covid-19.
