Jalandhar has become the hub of the casting industry. Casting is the cheapest industry across India. He said that the industrialists of Punjab are intellectuals, they need facilities. To increase the industry of Jalandhar, a new industrial area is needed in 200 acres. If the government is unable to provide a new focal point, what are the alternatives? The industrial area of ​​500 acres was in the master plan. It has not been made available since 2009.

He said that Jalandhar needs electricity. We have three power stations. There is a need to build a new 220 KV powerhouse in Gadaipur so that the industries of Gadaipur are benefitted. Bhasin said that the places identified in the master plan should be approved. The entrepreneur said that the industry gives 15 to 18 percent of the revenue of Punjab, but the government keeps only 2 to 2.5 percent of the budget for the industry.
