Sri Ram Sena Chief Pramod Muthalik in Karnataka has given a controversial statement on Love Jihad. An event was held in Bagalkot on the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj, in which Pramod asked the youth present there to trap Muslim girls in love to stop love jihad.

1. Keep a sword at home to protect yourself: In the video, Pramod is saying in Kannada – Love Jihad is being carried out by cheating our girls. If they marry one of our girls, then Hindu youths trap 10 of their girls. Shri Ram Sena will take responsibility for the job and security of those who do this. In our traditions, everyone should have a sword at home to protect themselves. If the police ask, then say that Maa Durga also has a sword in her hand.
2. No compromise with cow killers - Muthalik: Pramod also said that when our festivals come, the police say don't play DJ. Should the speakers be removed from their mosques? We don't need to compromise with anyone to save mother cow. The Prohibition of Conversion Act is in force in the state, but the conversion has not stopped.
3. By contesting from Karkala, I will bring Modi ideology: Pramod said, "My fight in Karkala is not against BJP. My fight is against corrupt people who have spoiled Hindu ideology. Our ideal is Narendra Modi. I am fighting against Karkala." I have come to expose his ideology."
4. Had to fight with my people when I spoke on Hindutva: Muthalik said that till now 109 cases have been registered against him. Most of them happened during the BJP rule. He claimed that he had to face his people for his stand on Hindutva.
