North Korea fired a second ballistic missile in 48 hours: fell in Japan's maritime border, tested after US-South Korea military drill

North Korea has again fired two ballistic missiles into the East Sea. South Korea's Defense Minister Lee-Jong-sup has claimed missile fire toward the Sea of Japan. Japan has also confirmed this. However, what was this missile and how far it went, no information has been received yet.

The second missile test took place a day after the US and South Korea's military exercises. On February 18, North Korea did missile testing. After this, on February 19, the US and South Korea started joint air exercises.

US-South Korea to conduct the tabletop exercise on February 23

On February 23, America and South Korea are going to conduct tabletop exercises in Washington regarding military exercises and strategy during an emergency. In this exercise, discussions will be held between the two countries regarding the use of nuclear weapons and crisis management during possible threats.

Amid the nuclear threat from North Korea, the two countries will also talk about sharing information as well as increasing America's involvement in the region. Along with this, the military forces of both countries will also participate in joint field exercises in March.

North Korea is doing missile testing despite the ban

The United Nations i.e. UN has imposed sanctions on North Korea regarding the testing of nuclear and ballistic killers. Simply put, North Korea cannot test nuclear and ballistic missiles. Despite this, missile tests are being done continuously. Earlier in May also the missile test was done.

The altitude and range of the missile fired on Friday were 100 km less than the missile fired on March 24. According to a CNN report, the missile fired in March has been considered the most dangerous missile of North Korea so far. It flew as high as 6,248.5 kms and covered a distance of 1090 kms.

ICBM was seen in a military parade

North Korea has tested several missiles along with passing a bill declaring itself a nuclear state. Apart from this, on February 9, the country's biggest military parade was organized on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the army in the country. About 1 dozen Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) were displayed in the capital Pyongyang. The parade started at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang. During this, dictator Kim Jong was seen with his wife and daughter.
