On Wednesday, 3.17 lakh new cases have been found in the country. During this, 2.23 lakh people were cured, while 491 people have died. At the same time, an increase of 34,562 has been seen in the new infected compared to the previous day. Earlier on January 18, 2.82 lakh people were found infected.

 

After 8 months, the number of new infected in the country has crossed 3 lakhs. In the second wave, 3.11 lakh cases were found on 15 May during the decrease in cases. An increase of 91 thousand 519 was registered in the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment. At present, there are 19.24 lakh active cases in the country. For the first time in the country, more than 2 lakh patients (2,23,990) have also been cured.

 

160 crore vaccine mark crossed in the country, 48% of the total population fully vaccinated

160 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country. On Thursday, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave this information on Twitter. With this, the number of fully vaccinated people in the country has gone up to 66 crores. This is 48% of the total population.

 

Schools will open in Maharashtra from Monday

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has accepted the proposal of the Education Department to open the school. From Monday, physical classes will be held from pre-primary to 12. This was when 43,697 cases were registered in the state on Wednesday. The figures have increased by 11% compared to Tuesday.

1. Maharashtra: 43 thousand new cases were found in 24 hours

In Maharashtra, 43,697 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is 4,400 more than Tuesday. On Tuesday, 39,207 cases were reported in the state, that is, 11% of cases have increased in a day. On Wednesday, 45,591 patients were cured and 49 people died. The total active cases in the state now stand at 2,64,708.

 

2. Karnataka: New cases decreased by about 1 thousand compared to the previous day

Here on Wednesday, 40,499 people were found infected, while 23,309 people were cured and 21 people died. Earlier on Tuesday, 41,457 people were found infected. That is, cases have increased by 52.66% in one day. There has been a decrease of about 1 thousand in new cases compared to the previous day. A total of 33.29 lakh people have come under the grip of infection here. Of these, 30.23 lakh people have been cured, while 38,486 people died. The number of active cases is 2,67,650 and the positivity rate is 18.81%. The positivity rate on Tuesday was 22.30%.

 

3. Kerala: Positivity rate rises to 37.13%

On Wednesday, 34,119 new infections have been found in the state, while 8193 patients have been cured and 49 people have died. On Tuesday, 28,481 cases were reported here and 18 people died. A total of 54.64 lakh people have been affected by the infection so far. Of these, 52.44 lakh people have been cured, while 51,160 people died. The number of active cases here is 1,68,383. The positivity rate has increased to 37.13% on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, the positivity rate was 35.27%.

 

4. Tamil Nadu: The pace of infection stabilizes

During 24 hours, 26,981 cases have been reported here. At the same time, 17,456 people have been cured of the disease and 35 people have lost their lives. Earlier on Tuesday, 23,888 cases were registered here. So far, a total of 30.14 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 28.06 lakh people have been cured, while 37,073 patients died. Here the total active cases are 1,70,661 and the positivity rate is 17.91%.

 

5. Gujarat: Active cases cross 90 thousand

On Wednesday, 20,966 new cases were reported in the state, while 9828 patients were cured and 12 people died. So far, more than 9.77 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 8.76 lakh people have been cured. On Tuesday, 17,119 new cases were registered in the state and 10 people died. The total active cases here are 90,726. The positivity rate is 15.12%, earlier on Tuesday the positivity rate was recorded at 13.11%.

1. Delhi: Daily Cases Rise After 5 Days of Decline

For the fifth consecutive day in Delhi, the increase in daily cases was seen after a decline. In the last 24 hours, 13,785 new infections have been found in Delhi and 35 deaths have been registered. A day before this, 11,684 new Covid cases were reported on Tuesday, 38 deaths were registered. The positivity rate stood at 23.86%. Active cases in the capital have come down to 75,282. Earlier on Tuesday, there were 78,112 active cases.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh: 20% increase in new cases compared to the previous day

In the last 24 hours, 17,662 people were found infected here. The state has recorded 20,532 people cured and 12 deaths. On Tuesday, 14,701 people were found infected here. At the same time, 20,191 people were cured and 12 deaths were recorded. So far, more than 18.64 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 17.40 lakh people have been cured, while 22,984 people died. At present, 1,01,114 patients are undergoing treatment in the state. The positivity rate here is 7.11%.

 

3. West Bengal: 34 deaths in a day

On Wednesday, 11,447 new cases have been found in West Bengal. During this, 15,418 patients have been cured, while 38 people have died. 10,430 new cases were found here on Tuesday. At the same time, 13,308 patients were cured and 4 people died. The positivity rate here is 16.98%. A total of 19.28 lakh cases have been found in the state so far, while 17.57 lakh people have recovered. A total of 20,193 people have died. Active cases are 1,51,702.

 

4. Rajasthan: So far more than 10 lakh people have been infected

On Wednesday, 13,398 were found infected here, while 8213 people were cured and 12 people died. On Tuesday, 9,711 infected were found in the state. At the same time, 7,056 people were cured and 9 people died. So far, more than 10.70 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.86 lakh people have been cured, while 9,031 people died. There are 74,561 active cases here. The positivity rate is 18.24%.

 

5. Haryana: Infection rate stable

In the last 24 hours, 8,847 people were found infected in the state. 6,768 people have been cured and 8 people have died. On Tuesday, 8,388 people were found infected here and 5,917 people were cured. At the same time, 8 people died. So far, more than 8.73 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 8.03 lakh people have been cured, while 10,136 people died. A total of 59,344 are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 19.99%.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh: Death of 2 infected, about half the cases in Indore

Here 7,154 new cases were reported in 24 hours and 2,675 people were cured. During this, 2 patients have died. A day before this, 8,388 people were found infected on Tuesday. 5,917 people were cured and 8 people died.

 

So far, more than 8.45 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.95 lakh people have been cured, while 10,547 people died. 39,450 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 9.72%.

 

7. Punjab: rising death toll

In Punjab, 7,717 infected have been found on the last day and 29 have died. On Tuesday, 6,641 infected were found here and 26 died. So far, more than 6.84 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 6.22 lakh people have been cured, while 16,846 people died. Active cases are 45,505 and the positivity rate is 18.94%.

 

8. Chhattisgarh: Positivity rate 10.3%

Last day, 5,625 people were found infected here. In the state, 5,364 patients were cured and 9 patients died. On Tuesday, 5,614 people were found infected here. 5,796 patients were cured and 9 patients died. So far, more than 10.75 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 10.29 lakh people have been cured, while 13,682 people died. A total of 32,021 are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 10.3%.

 

9. Bihar: About 30 thousand active cases

On Wednesday, 4,063 people were found infected here. 7,454 people were cured and 11 died. At the same time, 4,551 people were found infected on Tuesday. 3,786 people were cured and 4 died. So far, more than 7.99 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.56 lakh people have been cured, while 12,156 people died. A total of 30,481 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

The Bihar government is engaged in controlling the corona through investigation. On Wednesday, 5,849 tests were reduced, reducing new cases of infection. The Health Department has got 1,48,161 people tested, in which 4,063 new cases have come, whereas 24 hours ago, 1,54,010 people were tested, then 4551 new cases came.

 

10. Jharkhand: The number of people recovering in a day is more than the infected

In 24 hours, 2,617 people were found infected here. In the state, 3,769 people were cured and 12 patients died. On Tuesday, 2,514 people were found infected here. At the same time, 4,266 people were cured and 4 patients had died. So far, more than 4.12 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 3.80 lakh people have been cured, while 5,225 people died. A total of 27,422 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

In Jharkhand, for the last 5 days, more patients are getting cured than new corona patients are found. Experts believe that the peak has come in Jharkhand. The Covid positivity rate in the state has also come down by 1.76 percent in the last four days.
