Corona Update: 10,715 new cases were found across the country, Tamil Nadu has the highest number of cases and West Bengal has the highest number of deaths.

There is a slight decrease in new cases of corona daily in the country. On Monday, 10,715 new cases were registered. 5,533 cases were found less as compared to the previous day. The death toll from Corona has come down from 25 to 17 in 24 hours.

 

The number of patients undergoing treatment in the country has increased to 1,30,456, on Sunday its figure was 1,29,141. The number of people who have been cured has been recorded at 9,518.

The highest number of cases found in Tamil Nadu

 

Tamil Nadu has the highest number of cases and deaths across the country. In the last 24 hours, 2,448 cases have been registered here. Thankfully no one died from Corona. There are 18,802 active cases in the state. The number of cured patients is 2,465 and the positivity rate has been recorded at 8.07%. On Sunday, Tamil Nadu had 2,537 cases and active cases were 18,819.

 

3 deaths due to corona in west Bengal

 

In West Bengal, 1915 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 3 people have died. The total corona infection cases in the state have crossed 20.53 lakh. The number of patients who went home after recovering from Corona was found to be 967. At present, there are 24,209 active cases in the state. Here the positivity rate has been recorded at 21.29%. The death toll has risen to 21,246.

 

Corona cases in Maharashtra are less than half

 

In the last 24 hours, 1,189 new cases have been registered in Maharashtra, while 2,591 new cases were registered here a day ago. The number of patients undergoing treatment in the state was 18,027 and the positivity rate was recorded at 4.96%. On Monday, 2 people died of the corona. The number of cured patients is 1,529.
