In the last 24 hours, 11,738 new cases of corona have been found in the country, while 29 people have died. At the same time, the number of active cases is 1 lakh 32 thousand 566. 14,344 people have also recovered on the last day. A day before this, 14,352 were found on Saturday and 23 people died. On the other hand, 56 corona positives have been found simultaneously in Saraipali Central Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. It has 54 children and two staff.

 

On Tuesday, the Government Panel on Corona (NTAGI) recommended the use of the Corbevax vaccine as a booster for adults who have been vaccinated against Covishield, Covaxin. This will be the first time, after approval, that a vaccine will be used for a booster dose, other than the vaccine previously administered. India's first indigenously developed RBD protein subunit vaccine, Corbevax, is currently being used in the vaccination of children in the age group of 12 to 14 years.

There has been a stir in Saraipali Central Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mahasamund district after 56 cases of the corona were found simultaneously. Among these infected are 54 students with 2 staff. A total of 35 infected were confirmed in the district on Monday, out of which more than 20 infected patients were found in this school. An isolation ward has been made on the school premises itself. School principal Prashant Rahat said that some children were found infected a few days ago, after which all were tested continuously since Monday, in which 56 infected have been found. Those who are undergoing treatment.

 

Most cases found in Maharashtra

 

The highest number of 1849 cases were found in Maharashtra on the previous day. At the same time, this figure has come down to 830 in the last 24 hours. Three people died of corona in Himachal on Monday. With this, the positivity rate has crossed 16% in four states Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Meghalaya.

 

So far 4.40 crore cases of corona in the country

 

Since the beginning of the corona epidemic in the country, 44 lakh 47 thousand 710 have been infected so far, while 5 lakh 29 thousand 89 people have died. The number of patients who have been cured of the corona has increased to 4 crores 33 lakh 72 thousand 456. At the same time, the corona vaccination coverage in India has exceeded 204.25 crores.

Must wear a mask. Corona rules have to be followed. These rules have been implemented by the management from today itself.
