COVID in India: 44 more people succumbed to corona, and more than 20 thousand new infected were found

The number of new corona patients in the country is fluctuating daily. On Saturday, 20,408 new corona infected have been found. 44 more people succumbed to the epidemic. The daily infection rate stood at 5.05 percent today.

 

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday, there are currently 1,43,384 active cases in the country. Active cases decreased by 604 in the last 24 hours. During this, 20,958 people recovered from the corona epidemic.

Deaths occurred here in the last 24 hours

 

Of the 44 deaths in the last 24 hours, Maharashtra and West Bengal accounted for six each. Apart from these, four each in Haryana and Karnataka, three each in Gujarat, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh, and two each in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, and Sikkim. Includes one death.
