
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has decided to postpone the ICSI CS exam in June 2021 amid the rapidly growing coronavirus crisis in the country. The ICSI CS Executive and Professional Examination were scheduled to begin on June 1, while the CS Foundation Examination was scheduled to begin on June 5.
The ICSI, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, issued the order, stating that the foundation program examinations, executive program (old and new syllabus), and professional program (old and new syllabus) examinations that took place from June 01, 2021, to June 10, Were scheduled until 2021, being postponed until advance notice. The institute said that this decision has been taken to protect the interests of the candidates and keeping in mind their wellbeing and safety because of the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India stated that the examination schedule will be reviewed based on an assessment of epidemic status based on the instructions/guidelines of various government departments issued from time to time and for the CS examinations of June 2021 The revised time table will be released soon on the website icsi.usu. According to ICSI, the revised schedule of examination will be released after reviewing the corona crisis. Under the new schedule, a notice of notice shall be issued at least 30 days before the commencement of the examination. Earlier last month, ICSI had said that it would conduct the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Company Secretary Examination on June 2021 at the scheduled time. The institute had asked the students to continue their preparation for the exam and make the best use of their time and devote more time to their studies.
