Coronavirus Updates: Corona cases reduced again in the country, 2678 new cases came in 24 hours; 10 dead

There has been a decrease in the cases of corona infection in the country. Corona cases increased for three consecutive days, but on Friday, there was a decrease in cases. The Health Ministry said that a total of 2,678 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this, 10 people have also died.

 

According to the report of the ministry, 2,594 people have also been cured of the corona during this period. Now the active cases of corona in the country have increased from 26,509 to 26,583.

 

Corona cases decreased after three days

October 11 - 1,957 cases

October 12 - 2,139 cases

October 13 - 2,786 cases

 

So far 4 crores 46 lakh 23 thousand 997 cases of corona infection have been reported in the country. A total of 4 crores 40 lakh 68 thousand 557 people have been recovered. Apart from this, 5 lakh 28 thousand 857 people have also died due to corona so far. The active case of the total corona cases is now 0.06 percent. The recovery rate has gone up to 98.76 percent. The daily positivity rate is 1.13 percent while the weekly positivity rate is 1.07 percent.

 

Corona vaccination campaign continues

So far, more than 219.21 crore doses of corona vaccine have been administered in the country. The first dose has been administered to more than 102.66 crore people. More than 94.92 crore second doses have been given. Apart from this, more than 21.62 crore people have also received precautionary doses. In the last 24 hours, 5,93,963 people have been vaccinated.
