Marvel Studios' film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is all set to hit the screens. Apart from English, the film is being released in India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. This time, Doctor Strange will be seen performing his feats in multiple universes, as the title of the film suggests. The studio has also released a separate Hindi poster and new promo. The supernatural adventure film will hit the theaters on May 6.

This time the superhero Doctor Strange will be seen battling his dark side. Wanda's family will also appear in the film for the first time. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange and the 28th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.

Benedict Cumberbatch reprises the role of Doctor Strange, while Elizabeth Olsen will be seen as Wanda. Viewers have seen both these characters in Marvel's Infinity series. Rachel McAdams plays Christine Palmer, a surgeon, and lover of Doctor Strange. Shivetel plays Agioper Karl Morado, a former mentor and now foe of Doctor Strange. Carl is on a mission to find and kill the sorcerers.

The events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are set a few months after the 2021 Spiderman - No Way Home. Dr. Stephen Strange travels through different universes and encounters enemies with allies new and old.

Benedict Cumberbatch also appeared in the lead role in this year's Oscar-nominated film The Power of the Dog. In the last few years, the market of Hollywood movies at the Indian box office has expanded significantly. Notably, the Jungle Book and Avengers movies have helped propel this market in the last few years.
