G20 Summit In Delhi: All the information from Metro, train, bus, and food delivery between 8 to 10, where to complain; know everything

Preparations have been completed for the G-20 conference to be held in the capital Delhi on 10 September. Tight security has been imposed in Delhi. Police are constantly trying to make the G-20 conference a success. Along with the venue, the police are beefing up the security arrangements of the capital.

Metro will run from eight to ten in the morning at four o'clock

Given the G-20 conference, Delhi Metro services will start from 4 a.m. on all lines from Friday to Sunday. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has taken this decision for the convenience of the police personnel and other supporting agencies deployed to maintain security, law and order, and traffic. Metro will be available every 30 minutes on all lines till 6 a.m.

 

After this operations will become normal.

Metro decided on the advice of the Police Commissioner

Given the conference, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora wrote a letter to DMRC on Wednesday morning saying that to maintain the security arrangements smoothly, the metro service should be started at 4 a.m. More than 40 thousand security personnel and employees are deployed to maintain security, law, and traffic systems, in such a way they have to reach their destination on time. Metro service should be started from 4 am so that they do not face any kind of problem. In such a situation, DMRC has made this arrangement considering the seriousness.

 

Only the Supreme Court metro station will remain closed

Due to security arrangements, only the Supreme Court metro station will remain closed from September 9 to 10. Passengers will not be allowed to board or disembark here. Apart from this, all metro stations will remain open for common passengers. However, as directed by security agencies, entry and exit points at some stations in the New Delhi district may be closed for a brief period to facilitate the movement of VVIP delegations.

 

Metro station parking will remain closed

Given security, parking facilities at Supreme Court, Patel Chowk, and RK Ashram Marg metro station will remain closed from 4 a.m. on September 8 to noon on September 11. DMRC has appealed to the commuters not to come for parking at this station. People have been asked to extend all possible cooperation in the smooth running of Metro services. Follow the instructions of station staff and guidelines issued by the authorities from time to time.

 

More than 400 trains affected, 207 canceled during G-20

If you are thinking of traveling by train during G-20, then set out only after knowing the train timetable. Delhi will remain on holiday for three days and trains will also not run. Keeping in mind the preparations and security of the program, 207 trains have been canceled. Apart from this, 36 trains will neither operate from their scheduled station nor reach the destination station. Similarly, changes have been made in the stations of 15 trains. More than 400 trains will be affected between September 8 and 10. Most of the trains operating from New Delhi will operate from Anand Vihar Railway Station and Nizamuddin Station. Most of the trains that have been canceled include local trains.

 

Buses will not run in the New Delhi area on the 9th and 10th

Given the G-20 conference, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus routes will be affected in many areas on Saturday and Sunday. DTC buses will run beyond Ring Road and Ring Road towards Delhi borders. These buses will be allowed to go out of Delhi. However, the DTC bus service will not be available in the New Delhi area during this period. In such a situation, DTC has asked people to leave enough time for the journey. To maintain security, the movement of vehicles on the roads in New Delhi and surrounding areas will be operated as per traffic advisory.

 

Interstate buses allowed to enter Delhi

DTC Chief General Manager (Public Relations) Durgesh Nandini Varshney said that no vehicle will be allowed inside Bhairon Road, Purana Qila Road, and Pragati Maidan Tunnel till September 10. General traffic except goods vehicles and buses will be allowed to enter Delhi from the Rajokri Border. Apart from this, traffic will be compulsorily diverted from NH-48 to Ravuttula Ram Marg-Olof Palme Marg. No vehicle movement will be allowed on NH-48 towards Dhaula Kuan. At the same time, interstate buses will be allowed to enter Delhi. All such buses will terminate at Ring Road. An adequate number of traffic supervisory staff will also be deployed to provide necessary assistance to passengers and bus crew.

 

There will be no food delivery in the New Delhi area for three days

If you are living in the New Delhi area i.e. NDMC area then you will have to eat home food for three days. Delhi Police will not allow food delivery during the G-20 summit from 8 to 10 September. Special Police Commissioner of Delhi Police SS Yadav said that food delivery boys will not be able to come to the New Delhi area. Yadav told a press conference on Wednesday that essential services like medicine, post, medical services, and labs will be allowed to take samples. Apart from this, all online delivery services will remain temporarily banned. There is an appeal to the people to avoid coming to India Gate, Zoo, and Dutvapath.

Safety rules will apply to all

Security rules will apply to all those who will be allowed to come to the New Delhi area. If the convoy of any VIP passes, everyone including the media person will be stopped. Apart from this, all other safety rules will also apply.

 

Avoid coming to the New Delhi area for three days, leave after seeing the route

Police will enforce restrictions in the New Delhi area from midnight on Thursday regarding the G-20 conference. The restrictions will remain in force till midnight on September 10. Traffic Police have said that people going to the railway station, airport, and bus stand can travel using a ticket or Aadhar card. Others including media persons have been allowed to come to New Delhi, but there will be VIP movement in the New Delhi area for three days. In such a situation, Delhi Police's Special Commissioner of Police SS Yadav said that people should not leave the house unnecessarily. People can go to temples, gurudwaras, and mosques on foot. People living in New Delhi will be allowed to move after proving their identity. Deputy Commissioner of Police Aalap Patel has advised people to make maximum use of Metro.

Use the Airport Express Line (Orange Line) connecting New Delhi station to Dwarka Sector-21 station via Indira Gandhi International Airport T-3.

 

Interstate buses will be allowed to enter Delhi. All buses will terminate at Ring Road only.

 

Buses already existing in Delhi will operate on the road network towards the borders of Delhi beyond Ring Road and Ring Road. They will be allowed to move out of Delhi.

 

Autos and taxis will not be allowed in New Delhi except for essential services.

 

Passengers will be allowed to travel to the airport, New Delhi, and Old Delhi railway stations.

 

The movement of traffic entering the New Delhi district will be regulated.

 

Residents and authorized vehicles will be allowed to move within the New Delhi district.

 

Vehicles involved in housekeeping, catering, waste management, etc. for hotels, hospitals, and other important establishments in the New Delhi district will be allowed entry after verification.

 

General traffic except goods vehicles and buses will be allowed to enter Delhi from the Rajokri border. Further, this traffic will compulsorily be diverted from NH-48 to Rao Tula Ram Marg – Palme Marg. No vehicle movement will be allowed on NH-48 towards Dhaula Kuan.

 

10 September B from 5 AM to 1 PM in Controlled Zone-2 New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station from Ajmeri Gate, Shanti Van Chowk from Syama Prasad Mukherjee Road, ITO from Geeta Colony, Vikas The route will remain completely closed from Rajghat Chowk, Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) Marg, Guru Nanak Chowk, Minto Road.
