Free admission to universities, colleges and higher secondary schools

In fact, Assam Government (Assam Government) has given good news to the parents who are financially strapped due to the lockdown implemented across the country due to Coronavirus. According to the NDTV report, the government has said that there will be free admission in universities, colleges and higher secondary schools in the state for the current academic session. According to the Assam government, this will not increase the burden of admission for people struggling with financial constraints.

 

Thousand rupees per month to buy books

 

Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa said that students from higher secondary to post graduate level will be able to get free admission in educational institutions. It also includes medical, engineering and polytechnic students. Admission forms in these institutions in Assam will also be available free online. Not only this, those who are staying in the students hostels, Assam Education Department will give them thousand rupees per month to buy textbooks. According to Himanta Biswa, for this all students will have to give their bank details in the admission form, so that there will be no delay in transferring money to their account.

 

Students who have passed tenth computer

Education Minister Himanta Biswa said, last year, students who have passed class X will be given computers in their school, while this year students who have passed class X will be given 20-20 thousand rupees so that they can buy computers of their choice. . Apart from this, the government has also decided to give benefit of regular pay scale to 29,701 teachers, 11,206 contract state pool teachers and 5,243 high school contract teachers under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
