Navratri 2022 Day 1: Today (Monday) is the first day of Sharadiya Navratri. Navratri started on 26th September. Nine Shakti forms of Maa Durga will be worshiped for nine days from this day. On Monday, the temple is thronged with devotees. On the first day of Navratri, a Kalash is established in the name of the Goddess. Devotees worship different forms of Durga Ji for nine days.

 

A large number of devotees have come to offer prayers at Jhandewalan Temple in Delhi on the first day of Navratri.

Aarti performed at Mumbai's Mumba Devi temple

 

'Aarti' was performed early in the morning on the first day of Navratri at the Mumba Devi temple in Mumbai, Maharashtra. During this, a large number of devotees had the darshan of Maa Durga.

 

Large pandals are built across the country on the occasion of Navratri. The idol of Maa Durga is established in these pandals. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees about the pandals.

 

A special type of pandal made in Kolkata

 

A special kind of pandal has been built in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. This pandal has been made from thousands of commemorative coins issued since independence on the occasion of the 75th year of independence. This special Durga Puja pandal has been made by the Babubagan Sarbajanin Durgotsav Samiti of Kolkata.

 

30 to 35 lakh rupees

 

Professor Sujata Gupta, the chairperson of this pooja committee treasurer, said that the theme of our pandal is 'Maa Tujhe Salaam. We are depicting the struggle of our freedom fighters on the occasion of Durga Puja. It took us about 2 months to make this pandal. About 30-35 lakh rupees have been spent on this.
