The matter of validity of the case will be heard first in the Gyanvapi case. The demand for legitimacy was made by the Muslim side. The hearing began for the second consecutive day on Tuesday in the court of the District Judge of Varanasi. Only two points were discussed from both sides.

The Muslim side wanted that first under Civil Procedure Order 07, Rule 11 it should be decided whether the matter can be heard or not. On the other hand, the Hindu side wanted to hear the points related to the survey report of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex and the objections to it. Now on May 26, there will be a hearing on the first validity.

On the orders of the Supreme Court, the hearing began on Monday in the court of District Judge Dr. Ajay Kumar Vishwesh. After hearing for about 45 minutes, the court adjourned the matter till Tuesday.

The top court had also directed that the application relating to Order 07 Rule 11 should be heard on a priority basis. The court had upheld its earlier order to protect the 'Shivling' site as pointed out by the local court. Along with this, the Varanasi district magistrate was also directed to make arrangements for a proper Wuzu facility for the prayers.

Objection sought on the commission's report in a week

The Jija Judge has upheld the decision of the Civil Judge to submit the report of the commission presented in the court and seek objection to it. The district judge has sought an objection on it in a week. Both the parties can object to it in a week. Along with this, both the parties have also been ordered to provide the report including videography and photography of the survey.

On the orders of the Supreme Court, the case reached the Jija Judge from the Court of Civil Judge

On the orders of the Supreme Court, the case has been transferred from the Court of Civil Judges (Senior Division) to the District Judge Court. On the application of Rakhi Singh and others, the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Ravi Kumar Diwakar commissioned the Gyanvapi Masjid complex. The Muslim side had challenged in the Supreme Court the order to seal the place and the maintainability of the case after it was claimed to have found a Shivling in the Wuzukhana located in the mosque premises. The top court then transferred the case to the district judge's court.

Muslim side demand

The Muslim side sought dismissal of the application citing a violation of the Places of Worship Act, 1991. The Hindu side requested to provide a certified copy of the survey report, photo, video, etc. so that it can file an objection. He also asked for a week for this. Also appealed to dismiss the application of the respondent Muslim side.
