There was political turmoil in Haryana just before the Lok Sabha elections. On Tuesday, the BJP broke the alliance with the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). Along with this, they also changed their Chief Minister. Taking a shocking decision in Haryana, the BJP has made state president Nayab Singh Saini the new Chief Minister in place of Manohar Lal.

Saini, MP from Kurukshetra and face of the OBC community was administered the oath of chief ministership by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday evening. Along with Naib Singh Saini, five ministers Kanwarpal Gurjar, Moolchand Sharma, Ranjit Singh Chautala, JP Dalal, and Dr. Banwari Lal also took oath. All five were also ministers in the Manohar government. At present no new face has been included.

On Tuesday morning, on the instructions of the central leadership, Chief Minister Manohar Lal and 13 ministers submitted their resignations. After the resignation, Naib Singh Saini was elected the leader of the Legislative Party in the BJP Legislature Party meeting in the presence of observer Union Minister Arjun Munda, Tarun Chugh, and in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb who came from Delhi. Manohar Lal himself proposed Saini's name.

After being elected leader of the legislative party, Naib Singh Saini reached Raj Bhavan and staked claim to form the government. With this, the news of putting forward an alliance with JJP for the last several days also came to an end. The party also broke its four-year-long alliance with JJP. Congress has called it a drama and has demanded imposition of the President's rule in the state and re-election.

Let us know who will gain and lose how much due to the breakup of the alliance.

BJP benefits

Non-Jat and OBC votes may come in favor.

The anti-incumbency wave will stop in the assembly elections.

Separation of JJP may lead to polarization of Jat votes.

loss to BJP

Manohar Lal was a big face for Punjabi votes. Due to this, Punjabi votes may get scattered.

There are assembly elections after eight months, and Saini does not have the experience of running the government.

JJP benefits

At present JJP does not seem to be getting any benefit.

loss to JJP

Due to not being in the government, now the workers will not be able to work. Resentment will increase.

Five JJP MLAs are not in touch with the party leadership, they may change sides.

No official statement has come from the party regarding the break of the alliance, which people are not able to digest.

If the party does not get the desired results if it contests the Lok Sabha elections alone, then it may face difficulties in the assembly elections.

Congress benefits

Congress is presenting the decision to change the face of the government as a failure of the BJP before the public.

Congress will present the decision to break the alliance before the public in the form of a secret agreement between BJP and JJP.

loss to congress

If JJP contests separately in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, Congress's votes will be lost.

INLD benefits

Janpa workers can return to INLD. Both had the same vote bank
