According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain may occur in some areas of Goa, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Rajasthan, and Gujarat in the next 24 hours. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi, and Haryana.
In Bihar, 11 people have died due to lightning in the last 24 hours. Seven people have lost their lives in Andhra Pradesh due to floods in the Godavari river during the last week. Since the arrival of the monsoon, more than 100 people have died in Gujarat and 110 in Maharashtra. At the same time, 197 people have lost their lives in Assam this year due to floods and landslides.
Madhya Pradesh: 3 inches of rain in Bhopal on Monday, 529 crore bridge broken
In the last 24 hours, the capital Bhopal has recorded the highest rainfall of three and a half inches. Apart from this, more than 1 inch of water fell in three districts of the state namely Guna, Sagar, and Betul. The rest of the districts have received 1 inch or less of rain.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of very heavy rain in 20 districts of the state. These include Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Tikamgarh, Satna, Rewa, Panna, Sidhi, and Betul, Chhindwara, Bhopal, Seoni, Mandsaur, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Sehore and Harda.
Rajasthan: 4.6 mm of rain recorded in 24 hours
Monsoon is in full swing in the state. After initially raining in the western districts, the rains are continuing in the south-eastern districts for the past one week. On Monday, 4.6 mm of rain was recorded in 24 hours. Heavy rains occurred at many places in Ajmer, Kota, Bhilwara, and Chittorgarh. Bhilwara received a maximum of 4.0 inches of water. Apart from this, Kota received 2.7, Bhainsrodgarh (Chittorgarh) 3.9, and Ajmer 3.5.
During the coming 48 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in the districts of the Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur, and Udaipur divisions. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
Chhattisgarh: 400 mm of rain in July so far

This time till July 25, 399.4 mm of water has fallen. That is, it has rained more than quota. Despite this, 8 districts of the state still received below normal rainfall. In the last 24 hours, 6 cm of rain has been recorded in Dabhra, 5 in Chhindgarh, Bijapur, 4 cm in Udaipur, Sitapur, Dharmajaygarh, Narayanpur, Pakhanjur, and Lailunga.
Next 24 hours: In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Kabirdham, Bemtra, Mungeli, and Mahasamud.
Bihar: 11 people died due to lightning in 24 hours
Last 24 hours: Rainfall up to 60 mm was recorded at 11 places in the state. During this, the temperature dropped due to a wind speed of 10 to 14 km. It has been cloudy in Patna for 48 hours. It rained only twice in two days. The situation is expected to remain the same till July 27.
A total of 11 people have died due to lightning in the last 24 hours. 3-3 people lost their lives in Bhojpur and Kaimur districts. At the same time, two people died in Jehanabad and one each in Patna, Rohtas, and Aurangabad due to lightning.
Next 24 hours: According to the Meteorological Department, the trough is moving towards the Bay of Bengal from Jaisalmer, Guna, Kota, Ambedkarpur, and Jamshedpur through Pakistan adjoining Rajasthan. Along with this, cyclonic air is moving from Madhya Pradesh to Jharkhand. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of moderate rain in 19 districts of North Bihar. On the other hand, there will be light rain in 19 districts including Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, and Nawada in the south. During this, there will be thunderstorms with strong wind.
