House prices have increased by 15 percent during the April-June quarter in nine major cities of the country. In this, the maximum price has increased by 15 percent in Chennai. According to a report, the house price in Gurugram has increased by 12 percent to Rs 11,517 from Rs 10,315 per sq ft a year ago. Prices have increased by 12 percent in Hyderabad, 9 percent in Noida, and 8 percent in Bengaluru. New launches in Delhi-National Capital Region (Delhi-NCR) and Gurugram jumped 57 percent to 1,205 units. While the number of new houses in Noida increased by 87 percent to 1,010 units.
Rs 7411 per sq ft price in Noida
The prices of houses in Noida were Rs 6,791 per sq ft a year ago, which has gone up to Rs 7,411 in April-June this year. During this period in Mumbai, it was priced at Rs 18,896 while in Thane it was priced at Rs 6,325. In Pune too, the price was Rs 5,348 per sq ft with a slight increase.
The number of houses increased by 51 percent in nine cities
A total of 69,813 houses were launched in the top 9 cities. This is 51 percent more than a year ago. However, it is 24 percent lower than the March quarter. The number of unsold homes declined by 11 percent to 4.05 lakh.
