Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has once again lambasted Pakistan on the issue of terrorism. While chairing the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Global Counter-Terrorism Approach, Challenge and Way Forward, Jaishankar targeted Pakistan, saying that the contemporary center of terrorism is still active.
Reminded Pakistan of Hillary Clinton's statement
In the last 24 hours, Jaishankar has told Pakistan twice. On Thursday, he also reminded Pakistan of Hillary Clinton's statement. Hillary had said that the snake also bites those who keep it in their homes. Jaishankar's statement came after the reaction of Pakistan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar.
Hina Rabbani Khar accused India
Recently Hina Rabbani Khar accused India of terrorism. In response to a question asked by PTI regarding this, Jaishankar said, 'I read the report of what Minister Khar said. I remember this thing from more than a decade ago. Then Hillary Clinton was visiting Pakistan and Hina Rabbani Khar was the minister.
If you keep a snake, it will bite - Jaishankar
Jaishankar said, 'Hillary had gone to Pakistan in October 2011. Hillary then told Hina Rabbani Khar that if you keep snakes behind your house, you can't expect them to bite just the neighbor. Votes are also deducted from those who raise them, but as you know, Pakistan is not very good at taking good advice. You see what is happening there.
Pakistan center of terrorism
Jaishankar further said, 'The world today sees Pakistan as the epicenter of terrorism. We have passed two and a half years of the Corona period, there is still a blur in people's thinking. I assure you that the world knows where terrorism is. He has a mark in terrorist activities in or outside the region.
