Corona updates
The first phase of the census in the country has been deferred because of Corona. It has also been decided to postpone the updation of the National Population Register (NPR) to be held along with the census. The central government gave this information in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
In Punjab, 14 students and three teachers have been found corona positive at the government high school in Saloh village of Nawanshahar. The school has been closed in a hurry.

On Tuesday, 285 people were found corona infected. 422 patients recovered and one died. So far, 2.62 lakh cases have been reported. Of these, 2.54 lakh infected have been cured, while 4,389 patients have lost their lives. Currently, 3,103 patients are undergoing treatment.
4. Rajasthan
On Tuesday, 87 people were found corona infected. 235 patients recovered and two people died. So far, 3.17 lakh cases have been reported. Of these, 3.13 lakh infected have been cured, while 2,768 patients have lost their lives. There are currently 1,798 patients who are undergoing treatment.
5. Maharashtra
On Tuesday, 1,927 people were found corona infected. 4,011 patients recovered and 30 died. So far, 20.30 lakh cases have been reported. Of these, 19.36 lakh infected have been cured. While 51,139 patients lost their lives. Currently, 41,586 patients are undergoing treatment.
