India vs New Zealand Kanpur Test: By the end of the first day's play between India and New Zealand at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, the Indian team scored 258 runs in 84 overs at the loss of four wickets. Shubman Gill's fourth half-century

 

22-year-old young batsman Shubman Gill scored his fourth half-century in Test cricket with brilliant batting before lunch. He scored 52 runs in 93 balls with the help of five fours and a six. After the first wicket fell for just 21 runs, Bagh Gill put the team in a strong position with Pujara for the second wicket with a partnership of 61 runs.

 

Kyle Jamieson made a comeback

Shreyas Iyer's counterattack

 

In front of the lethal bowling of Kyle Jamieson, India lost their four wickets for just 146 runs. After this, Iyer, playing his first Test, retaliated while playing a strong inning. Iyer scored a half-century in the debut Test and shared an unbeaten 113-run partnership with Jadeja. At present, Iyer is unbeaten on 75 runs.
