India-China border dispute: 14th Corps Commander level talks may be held after December 15, hot springs will remain the issue

India and China are likely to hold the 14th round of Corps Commander talks in the second half of December to resolve the ongoing standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. The invitation for talks has to come from the Chinese side. According to a report by the news agency, government sources said that it is likely that the talks will take place only after the second half of December, ie the 15th.

Sources said that this time would be suitable for India as the security forces would be busy with the programs being held till December 16 as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Pakistan's crushing defeat in the 1971 war. Talks are going on between India and China to resolve the dispute. There have been 13 rounds of talks so far along the Line of Actual Control in the eastern Ladakh region to resolve the standoff.

Both countries looking for solutions in the hot springs area

Both sides are currently looking for a solution in the hot springs, the point of conflict where the situation was aggravated by Chinese military aggression last year. The disputes on the banks of Pangong Tso lake and Gogra Heights, which were the point of conflict, have been resolved, the sources said. But the issue of hot springs remains. India has been continuously demanding to establish peace in the border areas.

India gave a befitting reply to Chinese aggression

Along with this, India has also demanded a solution in the DBO area and CNN Junction area. These areas are considered heritage issues. According to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs, India has given a befitting reply to Chinese aggression in all areas after initially being surprised by the Chinese army. Violent clashes have also taken place between the two sides, in which both have suffered losses.
