The Indian Army has started the process of procuring 130 state-of-the-art drones. These drones will be capable of surveillance as well as combat roles. With their deployment, the Indian Army will be able to better monitor the activities of the enemy on the borders.

These special types of drones are being procured under the emergency procurement process. With this fast-paced process, the drones will be delivered to the army in a matter of weeks. With these drones, the army will be able to get information about the activities happening in those bases which are away from sight, that is, across the border. Through these, the army will be able to get additional information which will be confirmed intelligence information.
