The Indian Army has started the process of procuring 130 state-of-the-art drones. These drones will be capable of surveillance as well as combat roles. With their deployment, the Indian Army will be able to better monitor the activities of the enemy on the borders.

The army will be able to get additional information

These special types of drones are being procured under the emergency procurement process. With this fast-paced process, the drones will be delivered to the army in a matter of weeks. With these drones, the army will be able to get information about the activities happening in those bases which are away from sight, that is, across the border. Through these, the army will be able to get additional information which will be confirmed intelligence information.

Each drone system will have two aerial vehicles

Explain that each drone system will have two aerial vehicles, and they will also have explosive material. The information sent from these drones will be received by the control room where necessary decisions will be taken after analyzing them.

India is strengthening its position on the Chinese borders

It is noteworthy that the Indian Army is continuously strengthening its position along the 3,500 km long Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. This happened after the transgression of LAC in East Ladakh by the Chinese Army in May 2020. Due to the increasing role of drones in peace and war, the Indian Army is also increasing its use. It is learned that the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is working on the development of several types of drones.
