Japan: Japanese Foreign Minister will not participate in the important G20 meeting to be held in India, protests started at home

Japan's Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will not attend the meeting of foreign ministers of G20 countries starting in India from Wednesday. The budget is to be discussed in the Parliament of Japan and it is believed that for the same reason, the Japanese Foreign Minister has canceled his visit to India for the G20 meeting. However, it is not yet clear whether the Japanese foreign minister will attend the quad countries meeting on Friday. According to Japanese media reports, a deputy minister may attend the meeting in place of Japan's foreign minister.

Opposition to this move of the Japanese government has started at home. Japanese media says that Japan is busy strengthening its security against China and strengthening its partnership with India. At the same time, the war between Russia and Ukraine is going on, and at such a time, Japan's foreign minister not participating in the G20 meeting will give a wrong message to the G20 countries. Many public representatives of Japan and the people there also believe that the Foreign Minister is missing a good opportunity by not attending the G20 meeting being held in India.

Explain that because of the increasing aggression of China, the Japanese government is trying to strengthen relations with India. The purpose of the Quad is also to oppose the expansionist policy of China. Apart from this, there was also a joint exercise between Japan and India in January. In which Indian Air Force and Japanese Air Force personnel took part. Apart from this, the Government of Japan has also invited India and Australia to attend the G7 meeting. Please tell me that the G7 meeting is to be held in Japan in May. Now that India is presiding over the G20, the non-participation of the Foreign Minister of Japan has angered the Japanese media.
