Karnataka: Patriotic Muslims will vote for BJP, Pakistan supporters keep divisive ideology - BJP minister

BJP-Congress Clashed: During the election battle in Karnataka, BJP and Congress leaders have started taking digs at each other. With about a month left for the elections, campaigning has gathered pace in the southern state.

 

In addition, both parties are at loggerheads over the Karnataka government's decision to remove religious minorities from the list of backward classes and put them under the 10 percent quota for economically weaker sections.

People like Kalam and Shishunala vote for BJP

BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi said that there are many patriots among the Muslims who vote for BJP. But some of them who support Pakistan and have divisive ideology vote for Congress and Janata Dal. We do not want the votes of people with a Pakistani mentality. People like Abdul Kalam and Shishunala Sharifa voted for BJP. We bring government schemes keeping in mind 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', not caste.

 

Congress MP Randeep Surjewala had said that 'BJP and Bommai Government have committed the unpardonable sin of stalling their reservation order dated 27th March 2023, through a statement made before the Supreme Court yesterday... They (BJP ) are cheating everyone in the name of reservation.
