Siddhanth Kapoor Controversy: The Karnataka Police probing the drugs case involving Siddhanth Kapoor, son of Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor, will summon him for further investigation. Police say that Siddhant, who is also the brother of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, will be asked to appear before the police for further investigation in a week.

Police sources said on Wednesday that the notice would be sent through WhatsApp as well as a registered post. The Karnataka Police arrested Siddhant Kapoor in a case of drug abuse in Bengaluru in June. He was arrested early in the morning while partying at a five-star hotel within the limits of Halasuru police station. After getting the clue, the police raided and arrested 35 people.

Siddhant Kapoor and others were taken into custody by a 25-member team of police after conducting raids. Medical examination confirmed drug abuse by Siddhant Kapoor and after police arrested him, he was released on bail at the police station. During interrogation, Siddhant Kapoor had said that someone had given him a cigarette containing water and intoxicants. The police arrested Akhil Soni, business manager of Mind Fire Solutions, Harjot Singh, an industrialist, Hani, a digital marketing entrepreneur, and Akhil, a photographer, along with Siddhant Kapoor. In a rave party organized at Siddhant Kapoor Luxury Hotel, 7 grams of MDMA crystals and 10 grams of ganja were seized after raiding. Further investigation is on in the case.
