Varanasi, April 15 (IANS) AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal Tuesday plunged into campaigning for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, where he will face BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Arriving here after a overnight train ride from Delhi, Kejriwal met a Muslim leader and also a group of traders and listened to their problems.
Party sources told IANS that former Delhi chief minister was staying at a priest's house in Tulsi Ghat.
Kejriwal also held small roadside public meeting in various places in the Hindu holy city.
"He listened to the problems of people and explained to them what AAP has for them," a senior party leader told IANS.
"There will be more public meetings from Wednesday," he added.
