The consensus was reached after six rounds of talks between the government and the farmers. The Yogi government has announced a compensation of Rs 45 lakh to the families of the deceased. A family member of the deceased will be given a government job. Along with this 10 lakh will be given to the injured. It has also promised to conduct a judicial inquiry into the incident. This inquiry will be done by a retired judge of the High Court.
