He is also well aware of the issues of farmers. Apart from seeking his blessings, I will seek his guidance to handle my portfolio as Agriculture Minister.

Chavan also responded to speculations about the meeting, saying it was only a courtesy call by Sattar and there was nothing wrong in the meeting between the leaders of the two parties. Recently, there were reports of Chavan being upset with his party leadership, which had issued him a show cause notice as he was absent during the trust vote against the newly formed Eknath Shinde government.

During a review meeting with the district administration, Sattar asked the officials to complete the panchnama of rain damage incidents in the next five days. He said that the Panchnama process for damages ended in July. However, some areas have also received heavy rains since July and this needs to be accounted for.
