Mark Zuckerberg: Meta Launches NFT Support in 100 Countries on Instagram

Facebook's parent company Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that the company is going to introduce the facility to share digital currency internationally on its photo and video sharing platform Instagram.

 

Let us tell you that the company had earlier started the trial of adding the feature of social network NFT support in May 2022.

 

It is being told that the company will soon release information about how it will be used on social media. According to reports, with the launch of this feature on Instagram, users from more than 100 countries including Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and American countries will be able to share their NFTs on Instagram.

 

The company has announced that cryptocurrency-linked wallets Coinbase and Dapper will be integrated with its app. They will connect to the app as a third-party wallet.

 

Speaking on this issue after the announcement by Meta, Vijay Praveen Maharajan, Founder and CEO, of Bitscrunch said that Metaverse is taking this step because of the boom in the NFT market. NFT news headlines are being made every day.

 

Please note that cryptocurrencies and NFTs are only part of Meta's Metaverse plan. The company has invested heavily in the metaverse. To create a metaverse, it is necessary to integrate cryptocurrencies with the meta platform.
