Angered by not being allowed to play PUBG in Lucknow, a 16-year-old son shot and killed his mother. After this, he stayed in the house for three days with the dead body of the mother. The 10-year-old sister was also threatened and kept from going out of the house. When the stench spread due to the decomposition of the dead body, the officer in the army called the father himself and told him that the mother had been murdered. On Tuesday night, on the information of the father, the police took out the body from the house.
Naveen Kumar Singh, originally from Varanasi, is a Junior Commissioned Officer in the Army. His posting is in West Bengal. He has a house in Yamunapuram Colony in the PGI area of Lucknow. Here his wife Sadhana (40 years) lived with their 16-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. The son made a video call to his father Naveen on Tuesday night and told him that he had killed the mother. He also showed the dead body to the father. Naveen called a relative and immediately sent it to his house. When the police arrived, they were stunned to see the situation inside the house.
Police claim - Killed if stopped from playing games on mobile
According to ADCP Kashim Abdi, the son was used to playing games on mobile, but Sadhana used to stop him from playing the game. On Saturday night too, he forbade his son from playing the game. The son got angry with this. At around 2 o'clock in the night, when Sadhna was in a deep sleep, she took out her father's pistol from the cupboard and killed her mother. After this, the sister was intimidated and locked in the same room.
Innocent sleeping with mother's corpse due to fear of brother
When the police opened the outside gate late on Tuesday night, there was an unbearable smell from inside the house. When the policemen somehow entered inside with a handkerchief over their nose, Sadhna's rotten body was lying on the bed. The body was so decomposed that it was difficult to recognize the face. Sadhna's 10-year-old daughter was also in the same room taking sobs. Police claim that the son shot the mother in front of the sister. Due to this, she came into such a panic that on the behest of her brother, she slept with her mother's corpse.
The pistol was lying next to the corpse, the entire magazine was empty
Police found Naveen's licensed pistol near Sadhna's body. The pistol magazine was empty. It is being speculated that the son fired six magazine bullets at the mother. However, the gunshots were not visible on the body as the body was decomposed. The police questioned the son a lot, but he could not tell how many bullets he had fired. For this, the police are waiting for the postmortem report.
first misled the police
Police said that when information was taken from the son about the incident, he first started misleading him. Told that the electrician had come home. He has killed the mother, but after intense interrogation, the whole story came to the fore. The son confessed to the murder.
Mother-son fight took place on birthday night
On the other hand, the police also say that Sadhna was harassing her son by getting angry with something. It was my son's birthday in October. On the same night of the birthday, the son made such a complaint about the mother to the father, about which there was a lot of dispute between the two. Since then, Sadhna was continuously harassing her son. Two days before the incident, the son was brutally beaten up by the accused of stealing 10 thousand rupees. That's when he thought of killing his mother.
Police say that the son hated some habits of the mother. He complained about this to his father many times. Despite this, there was no change in the behavior of the mother. Tired of this act, he ran away from home a year ago. However, the police did not say anything about what that act was. At present, the police have handed over the 10-year-old daughter to Naveen's brother, taking the son under his protection.
