Now in this case, the National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the governments of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. He said, "This incident is like a violation of human rights and it requires the intervention of NHRC."

The NHRC said that it has issued a notice to the chief secretaries of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and the District Magistrate of Agra to seek a detailed report within four weeks.
