Imran Khan's troubles are increasing continuously since he was ousted from the power of Pakistan. Former PM Imran Khan has been booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act. After which the speculation about his arrest intensified. According to the Pakistani newspaper Dawn, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of former PM Imran Khan. In such a situation, Imran Khan can be arrested anytime.

Amid the prospect of Imran Khan's arrest, members of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have urged party workers and supporters to take to the streets to protest the possible arrest. At the same time, senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has appealed to the supporters of the party workers to reach the Bani Gala residence of former PM Imran Khan. There is a continuous campaign for Imran Khan on social media.

 

A case was filed against Imran Khan

 

According to the Express Tribune report, PTI chief Imran has been booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act for allegedly threatening Additional Sessions Judge Jeba Chowdhury on a complaint by Islamabad Sadar Magistrate Ali Javed. Significantly, after Imran Khan's speech at a PTI rally at F-9 Park, an FIR was lodged at Margalla police station at 10 pm on Saturday.

 

Heavy Police Force Deployed

 

PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while talking to the media, appealed to the party workers to be ready and wait for the party's call to protest in the matter of Imran's arrest. Police officials have reportedly blocked roads leading to the Bani Gala residence of PTI chairman Imran Khan and banned unauthorized persons from traveling on routes leading to Imran Khan's residence.
