Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy today and the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light rain. But the situation in Jharkhand is not good. After incessant rains here, the water level of the rivers is increasing continuously, due to which the water level in the dam has gone above the danger mark. Light rain in Delhi-NCR

 

The capital will be generally cloudy on Monday. Thunderstorm clouds and light rain are also likely. The maximum and minimum temperatures may remain at 35 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively. The weather is expected to remain the same throughout this week. The temperature is expected to drop further next week.

 

Disaster rains and landslides in Himachal

 

There is a possibility of rain in most places of Himachal Pradesh today. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear weather at most places on August 22. However, there is a possibility of rain in some places during this period. There is a possibility of heavy rain again in the next two days. In such a situation, people do not seem to be getting relief. A landslide occurred in Kuthman on the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway on Sunday morning as well, due to which all the debris reached the road.

Incessant rain in Jharkhand has created a lot of problems. Here the rivers are on the boil and the water level of the dam has increased. There is a danger of flooding in many areas. The water level of Kanke Dam in the capital Ranchi has reached the danger mark. At present, Kanke Dam is the only dam in the Ranchi district whose water level is above the danger mark. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has advised people to be alert.

 

Light to moderate rain in UP

 

The weather has remained pleasant in most cities of Uttar Pradesh for the last few days. Now the mood of the monsoon is changing again. After torrential rains in some districts of western Uttar Pradesh on Monday, the weather will once again remain clear on Tuesday. Light rain will be recorded in some districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of torrential rains in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Auraiya, Etawah, Mainpuri, Etah, Firozabad, and Agra on Monday. Apart from this, moderate rains may occur in 28 other districts including Siddharth Nagar, Maharajganj, Basti, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Bulandshahr.

 

Alert in Bihar

 

As the monsoon activity in Bihar increased, most parts of the state including Patna received rain on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui in the southern parts of the state including the capital during the next 24 hours. In Munger, Khagaria, an alert has been issued for thunder, moderate rain with thunder, and thunder and thunder. Light rain is expected at one or two places over northern parts. Because of the possibility of thunderstorms, people have been appealed to remain alert.
